Kibera settlement in Nairobi Kenya is where the country's first every jump ropers sprang from. Introduced by world-class jump roper Mike Fry in the streets of Kibera, the sport grew though the community, and the area is now home to many a jump rope champion. They now pass their skills on to the younger generations, creating a space for young people to feel free and express themselves.
