Every morning I walk out the door snd say,” Good morning, dear garden.” Today the songs and calls of two Bewick’s wrens greeted me. They were flitting through a rosemary bush snd gleaning tiny insects. I thought of a poem I love by Mary Oliver who wrote about “ the charity of a garden.” I love that! Here I am quietly extending the charity of my garden to the birds, lizards, squirrels, moles, insects, and a few unwelcome gophers! | Sharon Lovejoy
