The Wallace Monument, also known as the National Wallace Monument, is a 67-meter-high tower standing proudly on Abbey Craig near Stirling, Scotland. Built in 1869 to honor Sir William Wallace, the iconic 13th-century Scottish patriot and military leader, it marks the site where Wallace is believed to have watched the English army before his famous victory at the Battle of Stirling Bridge in 1297.
