During registration, many first-year students arrived at Mangosuthu University of Technology after long journeys, tired, hungry, and determined not to lose their place in the queues. What followed was a powerful reminder of what MUT stands for. Through direct engagement with students on campus, the University leadership became aware of the real human impact of registration delays caused by system, water and power disruptions. Acting swiftly, MUT prioritised student dignity, safety and wellbeing.
