Do we have Britain's loudest cat in our care at Cambridge Blue Cross adoption centre? Bluey’s purr measures an ear-piercing 93 decibels – louder than the current Guinness world record holder, a cat from Northampton whose purr is 92dB. The average cat purrs at 25dB. She purrs when she’s playing and she purrs when she’s eating. She’s such a happy, friendly cat. Think you know a louder cat? Everyday we recieve about 3 - 4 large animals rescue calls like injured or sick cow, buffalo, horses on road. Loading these animals in ambulance and bring them to the shelter for treatment is no easy job. They do get minor injuries while shifting them for the treatment. We're taking all the precautions to make them feel better while shifting these animals in pain. You can see the glide in the video which we use to drag and move them to the treatment area to prevent them from abrasion. #bluecross
