Tips on wrapping a sunrise shell: 1. Use 24 gauge half-hard wire. I like this kind of wire because it shapes around the shell easily. Thicker wire may break the delicate shells. 2. Wrap your wire around the two grooves beside the middle of the shell. 3. Once wrapped, bend the wires on the back to keep tension on the shell so it doesn't slip put of your wire wrap. .
