Winning Powerball numbers for Saturday, Sept. 27, a $145 million jackpot

A Fredericksburg convenience store was presented with a $250,000 check Wednesday (10/1) after a major jackpot-winning ticket was sold there in September. The ticket was for the $1.8 billion Powerball Grand Prize and “was the second largest jackpot win in both Powerball and U.S. Lottery history,” according to Rick Figueroa, chairman of the Texas Department for Licensing and Registration.
