This week in 1988, Phil Collins released ‘A Groovy Kind of Love’ as a single from the ‘Buster’ soundtrack. The song was originally written by Toni Wine and Carole Bayer Sager in the 1960s. Phil initially recorded a demo for another artist to re-record, expressing reservations about appearing on the soundtrack as well as starring in the film.
