Those millions included an estimated 200,000 people in Los Angeles, 100,000 in Philadelphia, 70,000 in Seattle and over 50,000 in New York.

The protests are aligned with President Donald Trump's June 14 military parade in Washington D.C., which is set to honor the U.S. Army's 250th anniversary, organizers said. June 14 is also Flag Day and Trump's 79th birthday.

Saturday marks the first full day of Marines on duty in Los Angeles, one week after protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids ignited in LA and spread to other cities across the U.S.,

"Being brave for what we hold dear — our freedoms, our democracy, and each other — it's on us, guys," said the actor at a demonstration in New York City on Saturday.

Rallies are planned across Long Island and in New York City on Saturday, part of "No Kings" protests in hundreds of American cities scheduled on the same day as a military parade in Washington, D.C., to celebrate the 250th birthday of the U.S. Army.
