It's been nearly two years since Jay Leno suffered back-to-back injuries that left him needing extensive cosmetic reconstructing. And while honoring his surgeon earlier this week, the 74-year-old gave an update as to how he's doing now.

Nearly two years after suffering severe burns across his face and upper body when the car he was working on went up in flames—followed by several broken bones caused by a motorcycle accident— Jay Leno offered a rare update about his recovery.

"I called Dr. Grossman and I said, ‘Listen, I need another face. The other face you got was great, but I just need another.'"
