The Jacksonville Jaguars made the first splash of the 2025 NFL Draft. Set to pick with the fifth-overall pick Thursday night, Jacksonville moved up to second overall, acquiring the pick from the Cleveland Browns to potentially select Colorado two-way player Travis Hunter.

The Jacksonville Jaguars traded up three spots to select Heisman Trophy winner and two-way Colorado star Travis Hunter with the No. 2 pick in the NFL draft.

Perhaps it was jealousy. Or perhaps a league rooted in its systems and traditions will turn out to be right that prevailing wisdom could have saved the Jaguars from a whiff.
