Thousands of Haitians are facing an uncertain future after surviving a brutal gang attack last week in a small town that killed at least 70 people.

In central Haiti, a gang attack in the town of Pont-Sondé left at least 70 people dead and displaced nearly 6,300 residents.

At least 70 people, including three infants, were killed in a gang attack in the central Haiti town of Pont Sondé, the United Nations Human Rights Office said in a statement on Friday.
