A Charleston man has been sentenced to six months in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release, for possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.

Jaime Lopez of Doña Ana County was sentenced to just over eight years in prison for possessing fentanyl and a stolen firearm in Las Cruces in 2024.
