Authorities said Thursday that they captured a man wanted in the killing of a Wisconsin woman and two girls. The Juneau County Sheriff’s Office said on Facebook that the suspect was arrested Thursday.

The Wisconsin man wanted in a triple murder of a woman and two young girls, who has been on the run for more than a week, has been arrested after a statewide manhunt.

Virgil Thew, 47, has been taken into custody, according to the Juneau County Sheriff's Office, which announced his arrest on Facebook on Thursday. Thew faces three counts of first degree intentional homicide in the deaths of his girlfriend, Elizabeth Kolba, 33, and his 12-year-old stepdaughter and her 13-year-old friend.
