Reportedly Rodgers went to New York and spoke to new head coach Aaron Glenn and general manager Darren Mougey and he was informed of the Jets’ decision. The team has gone on to confirm that. Following the update, team owner Woody Johnson has released a statement.

The New York Jets could certainly do without any added dysfunction, but for now, it looks like they’ll have to wait. With Aaron Rodgers leaving town, some are hopeful he will take a chunk of the club’s misfortunes with him.
