Tom Holland has Jon Bernthal to thank for helping him land the role of Spider-Man. During a recent interview on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” Bernthal said while working with Holland on Brendan Muldowney’s “Pilgrimage,

"Pilgrimage" is an Irish medieval adventure film directed by Brendan Muldowney. According to Bernthal, Holland was confident he would get the role and would often repeat the phrase, "I am Spider-Man" during production.

Jon Bernthal takes "a little" bit of credit for his friend, Tom Holland, landing the role of Spider-Man.  The Accountant 2 and Spider-Man actors were working together on the 2017 film Pilgrimage when they both were prepping their auditions for their respective Marvel characters.
