Israel has issued a stern warning to Iran, threatening to strike civilian targets in Tehran in retaliation for Iran's missile attacks.

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned Israel that Iran plans to retaliate for its brutal attack against military leaders and nuclear scientists.

Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said its armed forces will "bring Israel to its knees" after it has carried out dozens of airstrikes on the Islamic republic's nuclear and military facilities starting early Friday.

"The full strength and might of the U.S. Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before," Trump warned.

In a televised address following the airstrikes, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel had launched a “targeted military operation” aimed at countering what he called an existential threat from Iran.

Israel launched strikes on Iran’s capital early Friday, with explosions booming across Tehran as Israel said it targeted nuclear and military sites.
