Houston Rockets forward Dillon Brooks and Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young were assessed a double technical foul in the fourth quarter of the Rockets' 100-96 win Tuesday in Atlanta. It came during a critical stretch as Atlanta had gone on a 15-2 run to cut Houston's lead to three points with under a minute remaining.

Tuesday's game between the Houston Rockets and the Atlanta Hawks got chippy as Dillon Brooks and Trae Young got into a scuffle.

Brooks and Trae Young stood face-to-face jawing during the Rockets’ win in Atlanta, then Brooks grabbed the back of Young’s neck and pushed him forward. Each received a technical foul for the incident — but did Brooks deserve more?

With just about 50 seconds left in the game, Brooks knocked Young down on the perimeter. As the action paused due to teammate Dyson Daniels converting an and-1 layup, Young seized the moment to retaliate. He nonchalantly drove his shoulder into Brooks as he walked by.

Trae Young was asked if he was given an explanation for why he was issued a technical foul in the Hawks loss against the Rockets.
