The Philadelphia Eagles are retaining a midseason trade acquisition on a new deal. Eagles defensive back Michael Carter II is staying in Philadelphia on a renegotiated deal, according to The Athletic’s Zach Berman.
The Eagles have a long list of impending free agents, including Jaelan Phillips, Dallas Goedert, Nakobe Dean and Reed Blankenship, who could sign elsewhere or re-sign with the team on extensions. They will also add players to replace their roles.
