Iowa State men's basketball suffered its first Big 12 loss of the season after the Cyclones got upset at West Virginia.

West Virginia delivered one of the biggest upsets of the college basketball season with a 64-57 win at home over No. 2 Iowa State on Saturday. The Cyclones entered the weekend having won their last 12 games -- the longest active winning streak in the country-- before the Mountaineers snapped it.

No. 2 Iowa State sees its winning streak snapped at 12 games as the Cyclones fall 64-57 on the road against West Virginia. Former Drake Bulldog and current West Virginia star Tucker DeVries did not play for the Mountaineers in the game.

Iowa State has lost its last eight games at West Virginia and is 2-9 there all-time. The Cyclones have outscored Big 12 foes by an average of 14 points per game. WVU is coached by Darian DeVries, who left Drake in March. He was 150-55 over six seasons at Drake, and led the Bulldogs to three NCAA tournament appearances.
