Now, the 6-foot-6 center is following the same path that her former LSU and WNBA teammate and Seimone Augustus took in 2024, when she was inducted into both the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame and the Naismith hall in the span of a few months.

Sue Bird said she knew the interest in the sport was there, despite the naysayers, as the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame inducted its 2025 class.
