March Madness 2025 officially began on March 16 with Selection Sunday. The 68-team bracket was unveiled for the NCAA tournament for men’s basketball. The first four subsequently takes place on March 18 and March 19, while the first round is set for March 20 through the 21.

(WNDU) - The bracket is set for the 86th edition of the NCAA Division I men’s basketball tournament. Sixty-eight teams will be playing in the single-elimination tournament over the next three weeks to determine the national champion. This year’s March Madness field includes three regional schools: Michigan, Michigan State and Purdue.

Dawn Staley’s South Carolina team has three losses entering the tournament after going unbeaten last season all the way to another NCAA championship. UConn also has lost three times this season, as has USC. Same with Texas and TCU, two other teams in the top 10.
