If there's one certainty of 2025, it's that there will be a plethora of new AI products. One of the first out of the gate comes from Philips Hue, which has announced AI-powered smart lighting for creating just the right mood for every setting.

Philips Hue has just announced its first generated AI-powered assistant to its Hue app. As part of its CES 2025 showcase, Philips Hue has also unveiled new home security features, including smoke alarm sound detection, and its Philips Hue Sync TV app now supports LG TVs.

Philips Hue isn’t the first smart lighting brand to incorporate an AI chatbot in its app. Plenty of other smart light manufacturers have beaten Hue to the punch, including Govee and Nanoleaf, albeit with mixed results.
