Texas officials arrested a man Saturday evening in connection with a "credible threat" made against state lawmakers attending the Democratic-led "No Kings" protest at the state Capitol. There is no additional active threat,

A man has been arrested in connection with the threats. Texas DPS says it evacuated the Capitol and Capitol Grounds around 1 p.m.

The threat came on the same day two state lawmakers in the Democratic-Farmer-Labor party were assassinated in Minnesota.

Most of the demonstrators CBS News Texas spoke to said they have numerous concerns about the current administration, ranging from cuts to social programs to the deportation of undocumented immigrants.

Protests in nearly 2,000 places are scheduled across the country, from city blocks to small towns, urban areas to rural areas, from courthouse steps to parks to sidewalks to service roads.

Coordinated "No Kings" protests are underway from coast-to-coast, part of a "national day of peaceful protest" against the Trump administration that is expected to draw millions.

The parade also coincides with Trump's 79th birthday and Flag Day, and comes amid the Los Angeles protests against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
