Houston police investigate after a man dies in a crash involving a GMC Yukon on Katy Freeway; driver charged with DWI.

The deadly accident happened in the eastbound lanes of the Katy Freeway near Wilcrest Drive a little before 9:30 p.m.

According to her attorney, Judge Kelli Johnson sustained a head injury on Feb. 14, 2024, when she fell from a motorized scooter. She was reportedly diagnosed with Post-Concussion Syndrome in August.
