An illegal migrant who allegedly killed three people after making a rogue U-turn on a Florida highway is an Indian national who was previously processed for deportation.
Harjinder Singh, 35, was arrested after the collision near Fort Pierce on the Florida Turnpike on August 12 after he tried to turn his tractor-trailer through an "unauthorized location," the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) said.
Harjinder Singh, an undocumented truck driver, faces three counts of vehicular homicide after a crash in Florida killed three people. He is currently facing charges of vehicular homicide and deportation.
After receiving his work permit, Singh was able to secure a Commercial Driver’s License in California, DHS said.
