Viktor Hovland, Akshay Bhatia and Lucas Glover enter the tournament holding onto the final spots for the PGA Tour season finale. Sam Stevens, Ryan Gerard and Daniel Berger are the closest to breaking into next week's field.

That includes Rory McIlroy, who sits in second place despite skipping last week’s playoff opener at the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis, Tennessee. Scottie Scheffler remains the heavy favorite entering tournament play and he’ll be in the same marquee pairing alongside McIlroy for the opening 36 holes of the event.
