Cynthia Erivo​, who is starring in the hit musical "Wicked," was named as the 2025 Woman of the Year by Harvard University's Hasty Pudding Theatricals.

Wicked has made box office history by earning over $700 million internationally. With that success, it is inching closer to commercial hits from huge proven franchises like Dune, Moana, and Deadpool.

Broadway’s Wicked will welcome two new witches to the stage this spring, with Lencia Kebede serving as the first Black actress to play Elphaba Thropp full-time. Kebede takes over the role from fan-favorite Mary Kate Morrisey.
