It’s taken time for the Club World Cup to build brand awareness, but opening weekend drew huge crowds in Miami, NYC and Los Angeles.

The FIFA Club World Cup is underway as 32 teams from across the globe battle it out in the U.S. in the new-look tournament. Revamped to mimic that of a World Cup, the financially lucrative tournament in its new format features the likes of Real Madrid,

The Club World Cup has been beset by organisational challenges ahead of the first edition of the revamped 32-team tournament in the U.S.

Clubs from Brazil and Tunisia will be competing in FIFA's Club World Cup. Eight matches will be played at the Linc between now and July 4. CBS News Philadelphia's Brandon Goldner is at the Linc where the first match will kick Monday night.
