The South Carolina Forestry Commission has ended its ban against burning certain materials for in two more counties.

"We get a fire in a cornfield, it takes a lot of resources, a lot of water to try to extinguish them," said Harlow.

A lack of meaningful rain and a rise in brush fires has prompted Bell County officials to reissue a burn ban that will last until Oct. 8, and possibly longer.
