The Phoenix Suns have clawed their way to eighth place in the competitive Western Conference with a 23-21 record. The Suns have tinkered with their lineup along the way, with head coach Mike Budenholzer moving center Jusuf Nurkic to the bench in favor of Mason Plumlee on Jan. 6.
Suns head coach Mike Budenholzer opted to change the starting lineup earlier this week - removing Mason Plumlee from the unit after previously starting the longtime vet for the preceding two weeks. Plumlee posted six points (3-3 FG), 10 rebounds and four assists in 17 minutes during Thursday's 130-123 win over the Wizards. Plumlee came down with 10 boards in just 17 minutes Thursday, tallying double-digit rebounds for the fourth time in his last six games.
