The Bruins have signed their newly-acquired defenseman Victor Soderstrom, who they acquired from the Blackhawks, to a one-year deal.

The Bruins agreed to a one-year, $775,000 two-way deal with the Swedish defenseman on Saturday. Boston acquired the rights to Soderstrom from Chicago late Friday afternoon for a seventh-round pick and defenseman Ryan Mast. The 24-year-old was a restricted free agent.
