There are now 19 horses set to run in the 2025 Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs Saturday. Grande, who's trained by Todd Pletcher, has been scratched.

Grande joins Rodriguez, trained by Bob Baffert, as scratches since the race was drawn last Saturday. Both are coming out of the Wood Memorial at Aqueduct.

The 3-year-old colt, trained by Dallas’ Todd Pletcher, had been “training and looking great” on the track all week, according to the horse’s owner.
