Authorities in Nashville have arrested two suspects accused of being involved in a suspect gang-related shooting that killed one person and wounded nine others over the weekend near Tennessee State University.

According to Metro Nashville Police, Vonquae Johnson, 24, was killed when gunfire broke out near the Nashville campus on Saturday.

Some of those who were being treated at area hospitals were suspected to have been involved in the shooting, police said.

Cops said three children — two 12-year-olds and a 14-year-old — were among the wounded and that all the survivors are expected to recover.
