The show's brilliant cast all return for a second round, taking the characters through new challenges and delivering the show's very funny, genuinely moving script to perfection. With just two episodes out on Apple TV+, Shrinking picks up where we left off with these now ingrained characters and wisely doesn't reinvent the wheel.

Whatever one thought of how the show portrayed therapy, and plenty were appalled by the idea that doctor-patient boundaries are more annoying inconvenience than ironclad principle, Season 1 of “Shrinking” at least had a hook-y premise to structure its broader study of grief.

“Shrinking” Season 2 premieres Wednesday, October 16 with two episodes on Apple TV+. New episodes will be released weekly through the finale on December 25.
