As royals, presidents and hundreds of thousands of Catholic faithful headed to Rome following Pope Francis's death, a video was shared in social media posts that falsely claimed it showed people paying their respects to the popular Argentine pontiff.

A video showing a Holy Week procession at the Santa Maria de Gracia church in Cartagena, in the Murcia region of Spain, was shared on social media with false captions saying that it showed satanic rituals at Pope Francis’ funeral.
