Former Texas Longhorn Jordan Spieth took to X to announce his withdrawal from the Travelers Championship after suffering a neck and upper back injury.

While Spieth's withdrawal is a disappointing turn for fans, it may come as a hidden blessing for someone much closer to home—his wife, Annie.

With The Open Championship at Royal Portrush in a month, Spieth will certainly attempt to be back healthy for the year's final major as he continues to make his case for Keegan Bradley to put him on the U.S. Ryder Cup team at Bethpage Black this fall.
