Chandigarh: Rejecting exit poll predictions, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday asserted his party BJP will form the government in the state with the full majority for a third time when the results are announced on October 8.

The Haryana assembly consists of 90 seats, with the majority mark set at 46. According to most exit polls, the Congress is expected to secure between 44 and 61 seats. However, it’s important to note that exit polls are not always accurate.

From the Ambala Cantt Assembly constituency, BJP candidate Anil Vij expressed his thoughts on the ongoing elections, stating, “Voting is still underway, and the exact voter turnout has yet to be reported.

According to Axis My India exit poll projections, Congress is likely to win 59 seats in the state, while the BJP could win 23 seats. Other parties may win 8 seats.
