A 35-year-old woman and a four-year-old boy have been injured after being attacked by a dog in a street in the Borders. The incident happened at about 15:00 on Saturday in the Wilson Drive area of Hawick. Police said the woman and child had been attacked from behind by what they described as a brown and tan Staffordshire Bull Terrier-type dog.

A woman’s off-the-lead dog attacked another dogwalker and his pet. The incident occurred between 6pm and 6.30pm on Friday, January 1 when the victim, a man in his thirties, was walking his dog on Brinkinfield Road near High Street in Chalgrove.

Broward Sheriff's Office officials said a woman was taken to an area hospital for treatment but her identity and condition weren't released. It's unknown what led to the attack bu
