If you were looking for relief from the bone-chilling temperatures that have frozen Michigan the past week, you'll have to wait awhile longer for any sort of refuge.
The large winter storm mostly south of Michigan will swing some accumulating snow up into the southeast part of our state. Otherwise it’s a dangerously cold weekend for us. Here’s a look at all of the wintry weather this weekend.
Snow and blowing snow will continue across Michigan as an Arctic cold front moves through the state. In the Upper Peninsula, lake effect snow and blowing snow will reduce visibility to near zero at times, especially along the lakeshores and open areas such as the M-28 corridor between Harvey and Munising.
