On Wednesday, the Seattle Mariners acquired Josh Naylor from the Arizona Diamondbacks, likely taking them out of the Eugenio Suarez sweepstakes. Multiple teams, including the Tigers, could emerge as serious suitors for Suarez before the 2025 MLB trade deadline.
But, regardless of what the team decides to address at the trade deadline, whether it's a player like Suarez or another slugger who can round out the lineup, the Tigers are interested in adding another offensive player to the roster.
