NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Brian Kelly fired as LSU head coach, according to FOX 8 sources. A team meeting is scheduled for 8 p.m.

Kelly's biggest issue was winning big games, as LSU was 5-11 against Top 10 opponents, including the loss to A&M Saturday.

LSU football returns to Tiger Stadium on Saturday, hosting South Carolina in a Week 7 matchup. All eyes will be on the LSU offense coming out of a bye week. Last time out, LSU fell 24-19 at Ole Miss.
