Invest 93L is likely to make landfall in Louisiana as a tropical rainstorm, with a low chance of strengthening into a tropical depression. Heavy rainfall and localized flash flooding are expected along the north-central Gulf Coast.

With the Texas Hill Country still recovering from flooding, Gov. Greg Abbott has activated emergency teams ahead of more potential heavy rain.
