The second week of early voting kicks off in North Texas and data points to an energized Democratic electorate, though there are increases across the board compared to the 2024 primary election.
When early voting ended Saturday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m, 15% more votes had been cast compared to the 2022 primary. The 726 additional votes could mean Election Day voting will be stronger as well.
While Republicans are also experiencing robust early voting, Democrats in some of the state's largest counties had doubled the early turnout of 2022.
Pulaski County is on track to possibly have over 30,000 voters cast their ballots before election day on March 3.
