Last season, Heyer averaged 8.6 points and a team-high 8.1 rebounds helping the Gophers overcome season-ending injuries to Mara Braun and Taylor Woodson to go 25-11 and win the championship of the WBIT post-season tournament. For her Gophers career, she scored 940 points (9.2 points per game) and had 795 rebounds (7.8 per game).
