Over 400 underperforming 7-Eleven stores in the U.S. will close by the end of the year, the company announced during its most recent earnings call. The 444 stores to close are among 13,000 stores the convenience chain has in the U.S. and Canada, USA TODAY reported, and the closures are expected to happen in the fourth quarter of this year.

The parent company of 7-eleven said that the 444 stores marked for closure out of the 13,000 locations in the U.S. and Canada were “underperforming.”
