During an interview on Fox News, Donald Trump says he wants Elon Musk to be in charge of government cost-cutting if he is re-elected in November.

Elon Musk has praised Donald Trump as the only candidate “to preserve democracy in America." The SpaceX and Tesla CEO stood alongside the GOP nominee at a rally Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania, where Trump had survived an assassination attempt in July.

After Trump introduced Musk to the stage, the tech mogul enthusiastically jumped in the air several times while supporters cheered. Musk, who wore a black Make America Great Again cap, warned in his speech that "this will be the last election" if the former president does not win in November while urging people to vote.

Mr. Musk, the world’s richest man and the leader of Tesla and X, delivered a dark warning during an animated appearance at former President Donald J. Trump’s rally.

Musk strutted on the stage with Trump while wearing black cowboy boots, a Texan-style belt buckle, an Occupy Mars T-Shirt, a black blazer, and a black MAGA hat. He was there to put juice behind his endorsement of Trump. “As you can see I am not just MAGA—I am Dark MAGA,” Musk said while whipping up the crowd.
