Opponents of President Donald Trump’s administration are set to rally in nearly 2,000 cities and towns this weekend.

The first of two rallies against the Trump administration in North Carolina’s capital city took place on Capital Boulevard near Triangle Town Center in North Raleigh.

On Sunday, Clinton shared pictures to Instagram of sparse crowds gathered at Trump’s lavish $45 million birthday parade, which also marked the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army. She paired those alongside photos of the nationwide “No Kings” protests which took place in every single state.

"I'm really surprised and my heart is warmed by how many people are here," 18-year-old Lea Sribar said of the demonstration at the heart of a Republican-majority county.

Tight security ensured a family-oriented atmosphere at the U.S. Army's 250th anniversary parade despite liberal opposition and protests nearby.

Attendees at South Bend's No Kings protest Saturday, June 14, had much to say in opposition to President Donald Trump's administration.

The Houston demonstration is one of several planned in the region throughout the day and is expected to draw thousands of protesters.
