The Arizona Cardinals not only lost one cornerback to a knee injury. They lost two. The team announced that it placed both cornerback Star Thomas V and cornerback Jaden Davis on injured reserve on Sunday. Both suffered knee injuries.
ESPN reported on Sunday that cornerback Starling Thomas V tore his left ACL during Friday’s practice, meaning he will be sidelined for the entire season. He was placed on the injured reserve list.

The Arizona Cardinals couldn't make it out of the first week of training camp without a season-ending injury. Cornerback Star Thomas V, who left Friday's practice after landing awkwardly while trying to defend a pass, suffered a tore ACL, per ESPN's Adam Schefter, and will miss the entire season.
