A team of American Red Cross volunteers from Michigan is traveling to southern California to assist with disaster relief efforts. The American Red Cross Michigan Region reports that four volunteers will support emergency shelters,

The Michigan team will join more than 300 Red Cross disaster workers, many of whom have been affected by the wildfires themselves, helping in southern California. The Red Cross is working closely with its partners to provide safe shelter, food, emotional support and other critical services.
